Sage 200 can be deployed in two different ways, either as on-premise or in the cloud. Sage 200 Standard can only be deployed in the cloud whilst Sage 200 Professional can be deployed as either on-premise or hosted in the cloud.
What is the difference between Sage 200 On-premise and Sage 200 Cloud?
Essentially, the difference between running Sage 200 as on-premise or running Sage 200 in the cloud is where the accounts data and software reside. Sage 200 Standard Cloud software is hosted at one of Sage’s datacentres servers whereas Sage 200 Professional on-premise software is installed locally on your own business servers and computers.
