Act! Implementation

Implementing Act! can be a time-consuming, technical task and the repercussions of a poorly implemented system may lead to significant problems later on. Our technicians are here to work with you to migrate your current data or system to Act!, which may involve configuring servers or setting-up cloud hosting, workstations, templates, customisations, integrated software, such as AlphaLink and remote users.

Once we had discussed and agreed on the implementation process our technicians would typically undertake the following:

In the configuration stage, using your business requirements we will configure Act! to suit your needs, be it office or cloud based. We will install the essential software, configure your server and setup workstations and synchronise users. Any agreed customisations or use of third-party add-ons such as AlphaLink will be configured as part of the implementation process.

Data migration

Our technicians will take your existing database which can be in anything from Excel to another CRM system and following discussion and investigation migrate it to your new Act! system. If you use Sage 50, you may be interested in our add-on, AlphaLink which syncs the two systems for real-time integration to increase efficiency.

Hosting

As part of our hosting subscription based service, we can host your Act! system on our servers. The benefit of this is that Hosting is taken care of by AlphaLogix, which reduces your IT staff and infrastructure costs. There’s also a low upfront investment and monthly payments make it easy to budget for ongoing IT expenditure.

Act! Training

At AlphaLogix we value the importance of training in your business. Our highly experienced, well qualified training team deliver courses for all Act! products on-site or at your premises. We offer standard and bespoke training courses to ensure your business maximises the value of your Act! system and prefer to train up to a maximum of six people at any one time.

As part of our support package, our highly qualified, experienced Product Specialist team provides onsite, telephone and remote assistance for all versions of Act!

Telephone & email

Our technicians are available during office hours via phone and email for immediate assistance. We aim to respond to any request within four hours.

Remote

To ensure a swift resolution, using state-of-the-art assistance tools, our technicians can dial in to your workstation and take a hands-on approach to dealing with your query.

Onsite

When appropriate, our technicians can come to your office premises to assist with customisation, configuration, design and installation.
